Places to Stay:
Log Cabin Island Inn
Sue and Neal Favreau bought the Log Cabin in 1979 from John Wiseman of Lewiston, Maine. This was Mr. Wisemans summer home. His trophies still adorn the walls of the dining room. Sue, Neal and their sons, Matt and Adam York (ages 9 and 7 respectively at the time), moved into the Log Cabin, doubled the size of the building, and opened the Log Cabin Restaurant on March 13, 1980. For the next eight seasons, the 80-seat restaurant was very busy. Sue decided to take a break in 1988, and for the next four seasons, the 80-seat restaurant was leased to another individual. In 1992, Sue and the crew returned, and served 120 seats for the next four years. The winter of 1995 brought more renovations, and in March 1996 the Log Cabin Lodging and Fine Food opened with six rooms. The winter of 1997 brought more changes, the dining room downsized to 20 seats, serving dinner only, and 2 more rooms were created. The spring of 1999 brought the swimming pool. And in 2003, the Harpswell room became the 9th and final room. March of 2010 we celebrated our 30th year of business, 15 as a restaurant, and 15 as an Inn. There are no more major changes planned. We like the Log Cabin just as it is, and lucky for us the guests do too!

Erica's Seafood, Inc.
Erica's Seafood is owned and operated by Tom Butler & Andrea Hunter and their daughter, Erica Together they wholesale and retail lobsters and scallops and run a seasonal takeout business.
The wharf was constructed in the winter of 2003 and in 2009 we began retailing lobsters to the public, with a tank on the wharf. In the spring of 2010 we began construction on our retail building and by the beginning of summer we were able to move the retail lobster tank inside. During the winter of 2011 we began the hunt for a takeout cart and opened it on July 1st, 2011.
Our 2012 season has come to close and we would like to thank all of our friends and customers for their support. We will have lobsters throughout the year and the scallop season is due to open in December this winter. Our takeout cart is scheduled to reopen for the season, Mother's Day Weekend 2013.
