     Though Harpswell has over 200 offshore islands, Orr’s Island connects Harpswell’s three large islands, Great Island (Sebascodegan), to its north, and Bailey Island to its south. Not merely a passthrough, Orr’s Island offers hiking trails & water access via town landings.

     Properties tend to lend themselves to more privacy & acreage while still being a short distance to waterfront, or homes perched right along the ledges themselves. Many private coves and sunrise or sunset views make Orr’s Island a prized haven for those who call it home.

    A few favorite hot spots are Devil’s Back Trail, Houghton Graves Park, Schiller Coastal Studies Center, long views at Lowell’s Cove, Salt Cod Cafe, Casco Bay Kayak Rentals & H20 Outfitters Sea Tours at the north end of the Cribstone Bridge.
